I'm excited to share with you a photo from my recent album photoshoot! I have to admit - being blonde has grown on me so much that I feel like I've unearthed my true self.

Sunken Cathedral

Dear friends,
I hope this finds you all wonderfully!
Things have been busy at the studio - final song touches, vocal recordings, deep production work and total immersion in the process. Not to mention visual transformations and new oracle card ideas.
I’m really excited about how things are sounding and can’t wait for you to hear it all later this summer!
A lot of things have been seemingly coming “full circle” with this project and I wanted to share a small story! I have always loved the haunting piece La cathédrale engloutie [The Sunken Cathedral] by Debussy. I was moved by the atmosphere it evoked, as well as the striking image of an engulfed cathedral underwater. It made me think of a hypnotic sort of immersion in water and sound. A kaleidoscopic trip through layers of time, history and space.
For a long time, I have been wanting to write a song inspired by this image and yet it never quite felt right - until now! Here’s a lyric from my song “Muted”, one of the tracks on the album:
Hear the phantom bells
Hollow silhouette
Organ ringing in
The deep.
Isn’t it interesting how ideas, if you give them the space they need, always find a place to ‘land’?
